Teakettle Junction

Have you ever been to Teakettle Junction?  It is a tourist destination in Death Valley National Park.  There is a sign at the junction and a number of people have attached teakettles to it with messages written on them.  I knew I wanted to paint this fun scene as soon as I saw it.  I did a series of them and the painting above received  an award at the AAIE Show.
