Inspirations

This is the sixth painting in my 30 in 30 painting challenge - Lily of the Nile. I painted it from a photo I took while I was in my front yard.  You wouldn't believe how many pictures I take while I walk around my house.  I always seem to find something I think is so beautiful and therefore want to paint it.  It's similar to the painting of yesterday but a bit smaller and of course different colors.  Sometimes I do several paintings of one subject and change various aspects of it; color, size, technique.
