Tule Elk Off 395

For many years now my husband and I have traveled up and down Highway 395.  Right off the highway, below Big Pine, there is an agricultural field growing some kind of grass.  Near that field there is a sign that saids, " Wildlife Viewing."  Sometimes, if you're lucky, you will be able to look toward the West and see that wildlife - Tule Elk.  It's amazing to view a herd of elk  right off the highway grazing in the foothills of the Eastern Sierras.  How lucky the Elks are to be able to have dinner in such a magnificent setting.  How fortunate I am to have seen them do so.  Painting number 21 is called Tule Elk Off 395.
