Inspirations

Purple Cliffs

I love painting mountains but I'm still learning how to.  I like parts of this painting but other parts need some tweaking.  I'm going to figure out how to make this a better painting and then paint another just like it only with the tweaks making it, hopefully, a painting I'm more satisfied with.  Wish me luck.

I also am just learning and as a photographer I find myself trying to be so accurate in my depictions so finally I decided I would paint as the paint flowed and go with it. Keep up the good work and have fun!

Thanks for your comment Eunice, it's greatly appreciated. Happy Painting!

I like it just the way it is. The color is lovely. The last time I skiied Mammoth was with you and Mike. Do you remember that I was pregnant with Nicolas? That was the last time I ever skiied. I had a nice time. Do not tweak the picture. I like it the way it is.

Thanks Renee
I painted another one today changing a few shapes and using different colors. I will probably use it for tomorrow's painting. Tell me which one you like better. Are you creating these days - candles, clay?

I like it too...just the way it is.

Thanks Karin. I guess we are our own worst critics.

I also like the new colors of the cliffs. But if I had to choose,I would choose the purple cliffs. Keep up the great work. Best Wishes.
